“I feel like everybody always says "don't sweat the small stuff" and "nobodies going to notice the little details", but the little details are what makes the day unique. The trick is to be able to tell yourself that enough is enough. Get creative with your partner - make the day a reflection of you and your relationship not just about adhering to tradition.

I also would say that you have to remember what it's all about. You're planning this potentially insane day so that all of the people you love can celebrate your love as a couple. You and your significant other are (or should be) on the same team. If you can keep that in perspective, the planning can actually be fun. The little arguments over centerpieces are not worth it and just getting in the way of actually enjoying the process.”
