A Family Beach Walk on a Blustery Day

We get a wide-range of weather in November. Windy, more often than not, as storm systems move through the Great Lakes. You’ve heard of the Gales of November, perhaps? The lakes themselves still hold the heat of summer, so depending on the wind direction you could see an early snow or still be outside without a coat.
This day was one of the latter. Windy, sure, but warm enough to not totally freeze our hands off — I met Lauren, Trey and baby Arlo out at the lake for a stroll. What better way to capture this fleeting chubby-cheek stage of life than alongside the shores Lake Michigan, just minutes down the road from their home.
